Here's my latest painting, Sister Dance.  I'm in love with the little piece of vintage music that I've added to the older girl's bow.  For some reason it feels a like it's a little secret, even though it's right there in plain sight.  Just makes me smile inside a little.

I really made an effort to make this piece very texturey.  Is that a word?  No. Ok, full of texture, this one is.  (Now I sound like Yoda.)

Color A Day #10 - Vintage Pink

Oh, how I love vintage....antiques, old photos, aged ephemera.  There's a pink that pops up often in these old treasures.  It's a dusty, mellow, muted color.  It's homey, and I can almost smell my great-grandmother's floral perfume when I see it.  The color today is...Vintage Pink.

Today's color is mysterious, dark, alchemic.
Mix a little Blue with Green, stir in a little Black magic...and there it is: Alchemic Teal.

Color A Day #3 - Blueberry Yogurt

Today's color is inspired by my breakfast.  And so, here is Blueberry Yogurt.  Not actually blue though...more like a soft purple, with some vanilla added.  Cultured.  Mellow.  Feminine.  Regal.
