It's cold and rainy here.  Makes a person want for warm, lazy, poolside summer days.

Loved these photo images from BlueSkyClouds on Etsy.

Happy Valentine's Day.

Hey, Sailor

I do love a man in uniform.

Hold On

I have such a weakness for cute little boys and puppy dogs.

Little Red

"Little Red" - So, I just realized the 10x10 panel I painted this on won't fit into my 8x10 scanner bed without cropping out something. This one is 10x10 in real life. Just pretend there's more sky and foreground...

It's Sunny!

Bonne Annee!

Happy New Year!

It's coming on Christmas
They're cutting down trees
They're putting up reindeer
And singing songs of joy and peace
I wish I had a river
I could skate away on...

Flexible Flyer

old neko and me

I recently uncovered a stash of childhood mementos.  From a stack of first grade schoolwork I found this drawing of a horse.   (I even named him!)  Maybe it's that I especially like children's drawings, but something about this 40-ish year old drawing tickles me.

And, here is my self portrait at age 6.
(Wish I was still this cute.)

sprechen sie deutsch?

I just found these three really cool old

(German, I think?) prints.  Now pondering how to use

them in some future art project....
